Gallivanter Command is an internal creator-business analytics and management platform operated by Gallivanter Media. This policy explains how the application handles information, including data obtained through Google APIs.

1. Who operates Gallivanter Command

Gallivanter Command is operated by Gallivanter Media for authorised internal business use. Privacy questions or deletion requests may be raised by authorised Gallivanter Media users through the organisation’s existing internal business contact channels.

When an authorised user connects a Google or YouTube account, Gallivanter Command uses Google OAuth and accesses only the information permitted by the scopes shown during authorisation. Depending on the enabled features, this may include:

Gallivanter Command does not request Google permissions merely for possible future features. Additional permissions, if ever required, must be introduced separately and disclosed before authorisation.

Application data is stored on infrastructure controlled or administered for Gallivanter Media. Access is limited to authorised users according to application permissions. Credentials and sensitive connection material are handled separately from ordinary application data and are protected using technical controls appropriate to the application.

Data transmitted across external networks is intended to use encrypted transport such as HTTPS. OAuth credentials are not displayed in this public site.

5. Sharing and transfers

Gallivanter Media does not sell Google user data and does not transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers. Google user data is not used for personalised advertising or to determine creditworthiness.

Data may be processed by service providers acting on behalf of Gallivanter Media only where necessary to operate, secure or maintain the application, and subject to appropriate access and confidentiality controls. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to investigate security incidents.

6. AI and model training

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is not sold for AI training and is not used to train or improve a general-purpose machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model. If Gallivanter Command later introduces user-facing AI features that process authorised Google data, the applicable data flow and privacy disclosures will be reviewed and updated before that use is introduced.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Gallivanter Command's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the applicable Limited Use requirements.

8. Retention

Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the internal business purposes described above, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and maintaining historical business records. Historical analytics may be retained after a live connection is removed where there is a legitimate internal business need to preserve that history.

9. Revoking access and deletion requests

A user may revoke Gallivanter Command's Google access through their Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents the application from continuing to use that authorisation.

Authorised users may also request deletion of Google-derived data held by Gallivanter Command through Gallivanter Media’s existing internal business contact channels. Requests will be handled subject to legitimate security, legal and business-record retention requirements.

10. Public website telemetry

This public information site does not intentionally embed advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information required to deliver the site under its own service and privacy terms.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Gallivanter Command develops. Material changes to the way Google user data is accessed, used, stored or shared should be reflected here before the corresponding application behaviour is introduced.
